The Third Coast Central America Collaborative is an inclusive and collaborative hub of Central Americanist research in the Gulf Coast region  (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida). The network has an annual meeting that gathers committed scholars and students from all the disciplines working on Central America (Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Belize, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and its diasporas) in the Gulf Coast region in order to share research, collaborate and strengthen Central American studies locally, nationally, and globally.
